Miracles Do Happen!!
Psalms 30:2
“O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.”
This story is about a miracle, a physical healing.
This sweet lady came up front and wanted people to pray for her during testimony and prayer time that Brett was leading in Jasper IN.
The tears came as she stuttered and struggled to get the words out. She shared about how a stroke had affected her speech about a month and a half ago. She asked if they would pray for her to get her speech back. Several people came up to lay hands on her and pray for her. Prayer is so powerful. God does hear and answer prayers. The next day we talked with her. She said that she was healed! She had an appointment scheduled with a speech therapist and she was canceling the appointment, she said she didn’t need it. We listened as she talked and the words flowed out of her mouth without any stuttering or hesitation. She was full of joy!! God answered her prayer! God’s timing is perfect and we don’t always understand it but He will answer in His perfect way and His perfect timing.
Mathew 18:19-20
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
This story is about a miracle, a young woman that was desperate and God showed up….
One of our Missionary family’s went to a park one afternoon with their daughter. They had a bag of candy bars with them. They were by a bridge when they ran into a young woman. They talked for a while and gave her some candy bars. They also offered to pray with her. She did not want them to pray but they talked for a while and then she left. Wondering how that went they walked back to their van and there was a sticky note stuck to their windshield:

Psalm 40:2
“He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Obedience and faithfulness always glorify God.
