The Hand Of God

Hebrews 12:2-3
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

The transition from leaving TTR and setting up a new Ministry has been exciting, exhausting, overwhelming and out of our comfort zone!!  Not knowing what God has planned and just walking it out day by day sometimes leaves me feeling like an Israelite in the wilderness!!
I seem to forget what God has done and how faithful He is and has been!!  Just like when God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites when being chased by Pharaoh and the Egyptians. You would think that they would never forget that.  But, they soon were complaining about not having water, and about eating manna that God’s own hand provided for them.  How quickly they forgot.  I too am guilty of forgetting how powerful the hand of God really is.  It is very important to look back and remember what the Lord has done.

We saw the Hand of God today at our first Board meeting.  As I sat at the table with this group of God appointed people I was in awe.  Each one has something very special to offer to this Ministry.  There is no mistake in who was sitting at the table.

We are so excited to see how The Lord is working and setting everything up.

Isaiah 64:8
But now O Lord, you are the Father, we are the clay, and you our potter; And all of us are the work of your hand.

A little update…….

In our last news letter we shared about the man that helped on the Widows roof and gave his life to Christ.  He had a huge need a couple of weeks ago.  His well dried up and he did not have the funds to take care of it. He has 6 children and had no water for a week and a half.

Serving Hands Ministries recieved a call from a man that also helped on the Widows roof, he shared that he had found out that this man has no water and that he and his wife would like to help with the cost. Through Serving Hands Ministries contacts, we were able to have a well company look at it the next day to see if it was fixable.  The outcome,  he needed a new well at a cost of $6000. but they worked with us and did it for $4500.  That Friday we were able to put a new well in because of this obedient generous man and his wife that had called in, they donated the funds.  They heard of a need and acted on it.  The gentleman that received the well talked to Brett and said his family had been praying about the well, Brett told him it was all taken care of.  The man teared up, and Brett told him that’s how God works!!

Definitely the hand of God!!

December 27th-29th we will be going to Friends of Israel’s Youth Fest in Hillsdale Michigan.  We will be sharing with youth that are interested in becoming Missionaries.  We have the privilege to train them how to share the plan of Salvation with people using the wrist band and Bible that we used when serving with Time to Revive.
